BMOA Rallye Recap by Wendy Griffiths

Well, if you haven't been to this venue for the BMOA Rallye, you should really try to attend next year! New Ulm was a good location, but, we really loved being at Somerville Lake, it reminds me of the good times had at Lake of the Pines, great view, lots of trees, neat bikes and cool people.

And just in case you are wondering, no, we didn't get but a couple of minutes of rain around 6.30pm on Saturday whilst dinner was being served. We got lucky, the weather held out and we all had a great time. Alton Gillespie and I drove the raffle bike and equipment down on Thursday and met Randy Bauer and Robb Green on arrival. We did great selling raffle tickets, the BMOA crowd was very excited to see that we had brought the raffle bike down and to see the NTNOA set up at their rally. We had a primo spot, between registration and their event "big top", right on the start line of the field events, great view of the shenanigans.

The Lake was extremely high as you can see from the attached photos, but. that just added to the beautiful view. I can't wait to go next year, hopefully I will find the time to explore the roads down there.
