Our August Club Meeting was at Bobby Vaughn's on Sunday, August 26th
Sunday’s meeting was at Bobby Vaughn’s place down by Corsicana. We had 25 attendees which was a good turn out considering it was a two hour ride from Dallas. About half the members braved the
heat and rode. Bobby’s place is right on the lake and several members stayed after the meeting for a swim.
Bobby showed off his massive cook trailer that he uses to make the most delicious BBQ and sides I have tasted. He will be our only food vendor this year at LOP so you will not be
disappointed. We had the same arrangement for food vouchers as LOP which consisted of brisket, chicken, pork, burnt end beans, potato salad and dessert. It was all you can eat for $10. As will be the case at
LOP, at the meeting if you bought $20 in raffle bike tickets you got a $10 voucher for food.
I opened the meeting by thanking our hosts. We had three new members attending. I announced the upcoming events, the meeting at Local Moto next month on Sept. 23rd, and reminded everyone of the dates changes for LOP. I also
announced that we needed volunteers to help our VP, Ryan Ambrose to set up and sell raffle bike tickets at the Southern Throwdown 6 Sept. 30th at the
Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum.
