Dan (Dante) Caranci

June 10, 1929  -  December 7, 2006

Our dear friend Dan Caranci passed away at home Thursday night, 7 Dec. in his sleep while surrounded by family and friends thus ending a long and sometimes painful battle against cancer.

Dante's Last Ride

The Peckerheads gave Dante his last ride Saturday, 16 December at 1:00 PM. Eleven of Dante's riding buddies were present.  The ride started and ended at Caranci's home.  Many Triumphs and Peckerheads were in attendance.

RIP - Dante - God Speed

Dante Caranci, 77, a retired co-pilot and Air Force mechanic, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at home.

Memorial service: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel.

Dante was born June 10, 1929, in Longano, Italy, to Madeline and Carlo Caranci.

Dante was preceded in death by his daughter, Marylene Joyce Kirkland; and granddaughter, Kimberly Nichole Kirkland.

Survivors: Wife, Marjorie Caranci; sons, Danny Lee Caranci and wife, Debra, Thomas Carl Caranci; grandchildren, Tammy Jean Bauer, Valerie Jean Dillard, Alex Dante Caranci, Kevin Kirkland and Kyle Kirkland; and five great-grandchildren.
