Our March Club Meeting was Sunday, 28 March  2004 at 12:00 at Up N Smoke in conjunction with their Annual Spring Car & Bike Show.

The few short rain showers early on didn't dampen the enthusiasm as witnessed by a capacity crowd.  As usual there was a good showing of classic and custom motorcycles along with spectacular hot-rods, sports and race cars of all shapes and sizes.

Dean Baker started our meeting off by giving us an update on Daryl O'Neill's condition.  Daryl is home and could use some company.  He lives in the McKinney area.  See Daryl for more details.

Dennis Tackett gave us an update on the Save Our Streamliner restoration project.  The NTNOA has agreed in principal to donate $1,500 for the Streamliner's platform at the British National Motorcycle Museum.  Pending approval of the revised By-laws this tentative commitment will be ratified at our April meeting at RPM Cycle.

Bruce Davidson had a poster made of the SOS logo and was collecting donations (selling pictures) to help offset the club's commitment to purchase the platform.

The meeting was adjourned and everyone enjoyed the rest of the car & bike show.

Our own Bob Hagemann (Club Treasurer) took First Place in the Bike Show's British category for his 1970 Triumph Bonneville.  Congratulations (again) Bob!
