November Club Meeting Recap

Many thanks to Chris and Monica Parry for hosting the November club meeting at their beautiful home. The weather fully cooperated, especially considering it had rained the previous three days. And, as a result, here was an exceptionally good turnout.

Monica made chili which was wonderful and included all the fixings. Richard Bowman grilled plenty of brats and there was plenty of cold beverages to imbibe.

Chris Parry was the MC for the meeting. First order of business was to welcome our guests Scott Edwards and Capp Pool. Chris then thanked all the current officers for their service, Richard Asprey for being the president for the past eight years, Ed Sass for being VP and Jane West for being our irreplaceable treasurer. Although not officially a club officer position, Chris offered thanks to Mike Mediterraneo for being our 2022 Rallye Chairman, and Scooter Jay for being our Field Events Coordinator.

In accordance with the club by-laws, the nominating and voting of officers (President, VP & Treasurer) occurs at the November club meeting and the positions take effect on January 1st the following year. Our new club officers for 2023 are Chris Parry President, Richard Bowman VP, and Jane West Treasurer. The Rallye Chairman is yet to be determined. If you would like to volunteer, please email Chris at chris@ntnoa.org.

The next club meeting will be held in conjunction with our Christmas dinner party, Saturday, December 17th at once again the Spirit Grille. The 50/50 winner was Stanley Miller with $145.00.

Really great day hosting the November meeting of the NTNOA. The weather blessed us with a gorgeous autumnal day - bright sunshine and very mild temps.

So we had a good turnout which was fortunate because Monica had cooked up a storm! 16 pounds (over 7 kilos) of ground beef went into a fab chili served up with the usual trimmings plus brats poached in Shiner and then grilled.

There was a brace of Tiger 750’s - one belonging to Jay Samuel and another belonging to Lou , as well as Richard’s 79 T140. Lou’s bike is notable for having paint by Alton - see pics!
