What a great weekend!!! After a lot of hard work and only three weeks to get everything together, too much time on the computer, it was all worth it. Special thanks to all who helped put
things together, Lisa Nordholm and Kirt Whittington from Advanstar who got our booth in the show.
What a great selection of bikes. Thanks to all the bike owners. Big D Cycle, Ryan Anbrose and his racers, Triumph T140 and the Triumph Trackmaster, Ron Kempf's '75 BMW R90/6 Cafe, Dennis Tackett's '77 Triumph
Bonneville, Jason Stallings '70 Moto Guzzi, Richard Asprey's '50 Norton Big 4 and '64 Triton, David Lyles '66 Triumph Tiger Bobber, Berwyn Henderson's '72 Triumph 500, Larson Statham's '69 Norton Fastback,
Arnold Garcia's '73 BMW R75/5 brought in by Bruce Davidson. You never know what bikes will get the most attention. Friday it was Ron's BMW cafe and my '67 Suzuki X6 Hustler cafe Saturday and Sunday it looked
more like the vintage bikes.
We all need to thank Richard Asprey for donating the '66 BSA Firebird scrambler to be our raffle bike. Raffle Bike ticket sales went well, better than I expected. Friday we earned $180.00, Saturday it was
$490.00, and Sunday was $470.00, for a total of $1140.00. Not bad for the first time out. Maybe it was Laura's new bike polish she used on the BSA? It might have been all the great help I had.
Thanks for people who helped work the booth, Bruce Davidson, Louis Torres, Chris Parry, Frank Jakab, Mike Brown, George Tuttle, Gary Vicksell, Olaf Beyer, Dicky Hunter who was a life saver bringing extra
NTNOA business cards and pens, Laura & Bill Keating, Leroy Greene, Gary Brooks, Richard Cross, (Where have you been? Nice to finally meet you #59 in the club.), Robb Greene, Cathy Ransey, Dennis Tackett, Paul
Fielder-White and Clay Walley. You can't count out Alton Gillespie for bringing Richard's bikes and the raffle bike. Hope I didn't leave anybody out. Thanks again.
I got to give a special thanks to Paul Fielder-White for helping me load up the table and chairs and all the rest of the equipment. I got all the way home and discovered that I left our club banner. Back down
there again. They already had the curtain down so it took a little time to find it.
My pictures will be coming soon. Those of you that are on Facebook should go on Triumph's Facebook. Some of our club’s bikes are now world famous
Thanks again, VP Randy. Click on photo to enlarge.
