Get On! MotoFest at Texas Motor Speedway - Friday, May
21st – Sunday, May 23rd
The weather didn't cooperate as much as we hope, but we had a great
time, sold $1,125 in raffle tickets, and talked to folks about bikes and
membership in the club. All in all, it's not a terrible way to spend a
weekend. Thanks to everyone who put a bike and volunteered at our booth!
A personal shout out and thank you to Richard's son Charlie and his
friends who helped me set up Saturday morning in the rain.
We had a 20’X40’ under cover display area for 15 of our
member’s vintage bikes. The Raffle Bike was there, and we had
members selling raffle bike tickets and manning our display area. This
was an excellent opportunity to sell raffle bike tickets and spread
the word about our club.
Unfortunately, the weather gods weren't kind and we had rain off and on
for most of the event.
