The 2024 December Meeting & Christmas Dinner Party was at The Spirit Grille
Saturday, Dec. 14th. at 6pm

We finished the year in style with a very well-attended Christmas Party. About 80 people came along and enjoyed the excellent catering care of the Spirit Grille. Mike and team looked after us very well. They even served Yorkshire puddings with the bangers!

Thanks to everyone who donated door prizes - they were fabulous. They included bottles of wine from the club for Jane West, our brilliant Treasurer, and George Tuttle our brilliant Webmaster! Congratulations to Jim Watkins who won the 50-50 raffle and many thanks to Randy Bauer for organizing the 50-50.

This was the last club event with Chris Parry as president. He did a superb job as MC and said his thanks and farewells. We’ll miss your leadership, Chris!

                         The menu choices were:
Bangers & Mash: Cumberland sausages topped with onion gravy, served with mashed potatoes and green peas
Pork Chops: Grilled pork chops topped with a spicy mustard sauce, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus
Grilled Salmon: Salmon topped with a lemon dill sauce, served with white rice and a vegetable medley
