Headed South by Dave Edinger, aka factory rider.
Upstate NY and a boat ride on Lake George, then
a ride to see the leaves change in the Lake Placid area.
Then stopped for another boat ride on the St. Lawrence waterway
in the area of “The 1,000 islands” The house with the little
bridge is the shortest International Bridge in the world. The
House is in Canada and the small island next to it is in the US
owned by the same people. Then to Toronto for “Canadian
Thanksgiving” Had a great stay with Kim and John and also seeing
two other friends from Sudan that now live in Toronto.
Then Amtrak to NYC along the Hudson River and back. We stayed
there for 3 nights with another of Missys friends that goes back
to her dancing days in NYC.
Currently on the train back to my Aunts upstate, load up and
head South in the Morning. Next stop is Annapolis, then Harpers
Ferry, Antietam and the the Shenandoah NP for a ride down the
parkway (more leaves…)
It’s getting cold up here, time to head South.
