Our President Dean Baker called the meeting to order promptly at 2:00 PM. With the rain showers ending late in the morning about seven brave members (including our President) rode their bikes to the meeting. New members were introduced and Dean reviewed the upcoming significant events of interest. The next club meeting will be held in conjunction with the Spring Car & Bike Show at Up 'N Smoke BBQ on Sunday, 28 March at Noon instead of the normal time. Unfortunately as it stands right now there is a conflict with our April Club Meeting/Swap Meet at RPM Cycle and the 3rd Annual Sulphur Springs Lakeside Camp Out. However, one could make both events by riding back Sunday morning.
Old Business included of a discussion of a new club T-shirt design with a new more colorful logo. It was decided to have these new shirts available by the Lake 'O the Pines Rallye. Further discussions were tabled until we could resolve who would design the new logo and shirt design. This should be resolved by our March meeting.
The New Business portion of the meeting was consumed with a highly "spirited" discussion of the proposed new by-laws. Although spirited, there was ample opportunity for all to have their say and have any and all questions answered. Dean encouraged everyone to vote on the issue either via regular mail or email. The deadline for casting your vote is 3 April, 2004.
