Our January 2020 Club Meeting was Sunday, January 26th at Pappas Bar-B-Q.
Like the last 17 years the pleasant weather for our January Meeting at Pappas’ Bar BQ contributed to a great turnout with at least 60 bikes ridden to the meeting.
A member was even seen arriving in a Maserati Ghibli.
Most members and quests showed up early to socialize, have lunch and look over the diverse range of motorcycles.
Dennis Tackett was our MC and started the meeting promptly at 2pm.
First order of business was the introduction of new members and quests, followed by new bike purchases and projects.

Past events:
Dennis thanked Spencer Case for organizing and running our display at the Int’l Motorcycle Show at the Dallas Convention Center. Also instrumental were Wendy Griffiths, Randy Bauer and
those who volunteered to display their bikes. The sale of raffle bike tickets netted close to $2K.
Upcoming events:
The Texas Vintage Motorcycle Fandango presented by the Cherokee Chapter of the AMCA, is April 3rd to the 5th at the Gillespie County Fairgrounds in Fredericksburg. Many members
attended last year’s event and had a great time.
The Motorcycle Cannonball starts Sept. 10th at Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan and ends Sept 27th at South Padre Island. There’s a good
chance the route will go through Luckenbach. It’s a great opportunity for our members to meet the riders as they ride through Texas. We’ll post the route once it’s announced. Our club members riding vintage Nortons this
year are Richard Asprey, Keith Martin, Stewart Garrison and Chris Parry.
 
Our next meeting will be at Al Lamb’s Honda Dealership on Feb. 23rd.
