Our June Club Meeting was Sunday, June 27th at Dylan's Barbeque Saloon.
Many arrived early to enjoy Dylan's delicious BBQ.
The cooler June weather combined with Dylan's
outstanding BBQ contributed to over 60 members and
guests attending the meeting. Most rode their bike
to the meeting..
At the last minute the NTNOA decided to hold an informal
Antique Motorcycle Show with an award of a $50 voucher for Dylan's BBQ
for the winning ride.
There were only two rules to be eligible: 1) you must have
ridden to the
event, 2) your ride must qualify as an Antique as defined by the
AMCA, that means 1986 or older. The show was
judged by a secret international Jury Panel (the owner Dylan).
The winning bike was Bev Bowen's 1936 Vincent H-R-D.
It was raced at Brooklands. One of the previous owners was George
Brown, a kingpin at Vincent Works back in the day.

Chris Parry and Ryan Ambrose transported and setup the raffle
bike and sold raffle bike tickets. (Click

Tackett was the MC for the meeting that started at 2pm with the
reading of the minutes and introduction of new members and
guests. Bikes for sale and ongoing projects were discussed
next. Dennis reminded everyone that you can put your bike(s) for
sale on the NTNOA website by sending a description along with
photos to ntnao@ntnoa.org.
The NTNOA is hosting a ride in July through Arkansas on antique
bikes with members of our sister organization the
Southern California Norton
Owners Club.
