The June club meeting was a remarkable
success considering the heat. The Back 9 was packed. We had 15
Vintage bikes in the show. Joe Johnston won the British class
with his '67 BSA Spitfire. Mathew McLaughlin won the non-British
class with his '89 Honda Trans Alp.
I could not have asked for any better
help. Penny and Paul Martin and Billy Thomas did a fantastic job
of selling raffle bike tickets. $185.00 worth. Mark Peterson won
the 50/50 again with $180.00.
Thanks to Ryan Ambrose for the use of his
trailer to haul the raffle bike. Edward Smith aka Slick for
helping me load the bike and stuff at Big "D". The early helpers
before the show were Mark Dunn, David Bradford, Efrem Hernandez,
Joe Johnston, and Paul Fielder-White. Even Russ Foster helped
load the trailer with these guys.
British Bikes in the show were:
Joe Johnston's '67 BSA Spitfire
Robb Green's '51 Norton Big 4
Sean Fleskes's '68 Triumph TR6R
Gary Brooks’ Triumph T120 Bonneville
Ryan Ambrose's 79 Triumph T140
David Morales' '67 Triumph Cub
Keith Pardew's '74 Triumph Trident
Edward Smith's '68 Triumph TR6
Jay Samuel's '72 Triumph TR6Non-British bikes were:
Billy Thomas' '76 Kawasaki KZ900
Tom Willis' '72 CZ 175 Trail
Shawn Willis' 65 Ducati 250 Scrambler
Dan Piassic's Honda Z50
Bill Felton's Honda Dream
Mathew McLaughlin's Honda Trans Alp
I was so busy that I forgot to take any
pictures. If you have any, please send them to
webmaster@ntnoa.org to be included with this recap.
Thanks for coming out in the heat. Don't
forget a few of us meet at Back 9 every Tuesday eve. Emily
and McKenzie take good care of us. They do an excellent job.
Thanks again for everybody's help,
Randy Bauer
