The meeting was called to order promptly at 2:00 PM by our President Dean Baker.
Everyone was happy to see Daryl O'Neill in attendance and in great spirits. However, it was obvious it will be a little more time before he can pass through a metal detector at the airport. Daryl has already started working on his '79 T-140E restoration.
The weather was perfect for riding, socializing and in general having a good time so the meeting was rather short and to the point. No Old Business was discussed. Dennis Tackett briefed us on the progress of the Save Our Streamliner project which is on schedule for completion no later than our 20th Annual Lake O' the Pines Rally. Dennis also announced that he and Keith Martin have acquired the famous Sam Wheeler Norton Streamliner which still holds the recognized speed record at Bonneville for a single engined Norton powered streamliner. It too should be at the LOP Rally.
Phil Dansby announced that he acquired a new sport-touring ride, a Triumph Sprint ST. Phil is selling his highly customized '02 Special Edition "Golden Jubilee" Triumph Bonneville to make room for the ST. Check out the Classifieds page for details.
