Our November club meeting was rescheduled to Dec. 7th to avoid a conflict with the memorial service for our friend Marc Marcom.
Michael Fairchild hosted our meeting at his residence. Despite the overcast sky and temps in the mid 50's there was a large turn out with well over 40 in attendance. Mike provided hot dogs, chips and adult beverages for all to enjoy.
Wendy Griffiths rode up on her beautiful 2014 Norton Commando. Wendy was also drafted to be our Events Coordinator.
Our VP, Randy Bauer sitting on Wendy's Commando.
Clay Walley started the meeting off by thanking Mike for hosting the meeting and providing for the food and drink. Clay had just returned from California where he spent Thanksgiving with family and a little dirt riding on his WR450 with friends.
The first order of business was the election of club officers. Although the competition was stiff this year all three positions were unanimous elected. Michael Mediterraneo was elected for another
term as our treasurer. Randy Bauer was also elected for another term as our VP. Richard Asprey was elected as our president.
Dennis Tackett briefed us on the British Invasion of the Ozarks. The ride starts on September 11th and ends eight days later. It is open to any British
motorcycle 30 years old or older. 22 members and members of the South California Norton Club have signed up so far.
