It is with sincere sadness, that we announce the
loss of our great friend, TC Christenson. TC passed peacefully on
September 21st after a long battle with many health issues over the
past few years.
TC was an integral part of our motorcycle community in Wisconsin and
far beyond winning multiple NHRA world championships and a plethora
of other races worldwide in motorcycle drag racing on the famous 'Hogslayer'
Norton dual-engine dragster. Due to this and many more significant
accomplishments, TC was inducted into the American Motorcycle
Association (AMA) Hall of Fame in 2005.
TC was never far from the pulse of motorcycling with his infectious
passion of the biker lifestyle, engaging stories, and characteristic
knack of connecting with any motorcyclist, anywhere, at anytime.
He supported the riders through his motorcycle shop, Sunset Motors,
and many organizations including the British Biker Cooperative
(BBC), Chicago Norton Owners, International Norton Owners, Wisconsin
Norton Owners, and multiple other Norton clubs worldwide.
TC was, and always will be, the epitome of the connection of man and
machine with a 'no-holds-barred' approach to life. He will be
greatly missed but always remembered in our hearts and thoughts.
Godspeed TC.
TC Christenson's family asked me to share this sad news of TC's
passing with his many friends. There will not be a memorial
gathering at this time but plans will be made for a celebration of
TC's life at later date.
Please keep TC's family in your prayers and thoughts.
